Default VPN good for about 20 minutes on iPlayer

I use VPN to watch the BBC shows on iPlayer from the US..

It works fine, but it seems as soon as I get about 20 minutes into the show I get a spinning cursor and I have to close out PureVPN then start it back up, then everything is fine.

I use a mac (latest MacOS). Does this happen to anyone else?

Just sort of annoying. Otherwise everything's great. Also, VPN works great on my iPhone...

    Dear lBotez,

You tried both PPTP and L2TP protocols?

Remember iPhone and MAC support both of these all you need to do is changing VPN type.

    Let me know then,

It seems like it's the ISPs that are disconnecting people they suspect of 'torrenting' because with VPN connected ISPs could not know if packets are streaming ones or file sharing / torrent activity. Lately there has been quite many complaints on internet regarding these issues coming direct form ISPs:

(here you will see many similar complaints at the center right portion of the web page)

For those not aware, file sharing/torrenting is considered an illegal activity and ISPs are forced to curtail such activities - Periodic disconnections is kind of discouraging end user on such activities though it's unfair for those not involved.

Will keep posting any relevant information/tips in this thread
