My VPN connection gets detected as a proxy (which is not what I want)
I purchased a VPN account from PureVPN yesterday, and tested its anonymity out. Unfortunately, the VPN connection is detected as a proxy on some websites, which is not what I want for my required use of this connection. Specifically, when I test the service on whatismyipaddress, I get the message : "Suspected proxy server or network sharing device.". The details of this result are as follows:
rDNS FALSE
WIMIA Test TRUE
TOR Test FALSE
Loc Test FALSE
Header Test FALSE
DNSBL Test FALSE
Is it possible to get a VPN connection which is NOT detected as a proxy ?

Dear Ahmadka,
Thankyou for taking time and posting in our forums.
As you can see we offer primarily two sorts of connections. One that is shared and the other that is dedicated.
Shared account, as name suggest, has its IP shared between many clients and is bound to be detected as "proxy"
Dedicated account, however, has its IP uniquely assigned to client. And would not be detected as "proxy" or "sharing device"
There could be various uses and needs depending on what you decide you should get shared or dedicated IP.
We welcome clients to first consult us regarding their needs before purchasing product.
Hope this helps,
The PureVPN Team

Thankyou very much for your reply. I was notified of the same answer when I emailed your customer support about this issue.
Anyways, since you guys don't offer hourly based packages for Dedicated IPs (please correct me if I am wrong here), is it possible if I can get a trial Dedicated IP VPN account, so I can just test it out ? It just needs to be for a few hours, so I can test it out. If its successful, like you say it would be, I can then purchase a proper Dedicated IP account. Thanks.

This information is incorrect. I have a dedicated IP and for the second time in as many months I am getting the same results on what is my ip address.
Proxy server detected.
IP 184.107.21.23
rDNS FALSE
WIMIA Test TRUE
TOR Test FALSE
Loc Test FALSE
Header Test FALSE
DNSBL Test FALSE
Support could not explain to me why this was happening and suggested I buy a year long vpn with a new IP address. Why would I do that when it could just happen again? I guess I'm just looking for some answers on why this would happen, and why it seems to pass the test for weeks at a time before becoming detectable again.
