Arrow Hulu and other US streaming sites

Hi Guys , firstly thanks for a great service I have a dedicated IP service , one of the main reasons I took out an account was to view sites like Hulu for video , I'm a bit disappointed that these sites buffer a lot when viewing with PureVPN , i have a 20mb connection in the UK and tested watching video via this and then pureVPN and the results on PureVPN were very poor, is there anything I or you guys to help and improve video stream on these sites via your service.

    Thnaks in advanced :-)

    ct.

    Hello
Thank you for showing interest in Purevpn.
We have located a spot in our USA network where we could optimize traffic flows.
Some customers may experience increased latency as some of our core equipment is re-configured to compensate for the latest growth spurt of the Purevpn network.
We have scheduled a network maintenance window so please bear with us for few days and if the problem exists please submit a ticket at http://support.purevpn.com to investigate this issue deeply

    Regards
    Bryan

The new server (64.191.53.xxx) is fine but I noticed Hulu is onto the old one (216.108.234.200) refusing to serve and saying disable your anonymous proxy

    Dear phaethon,

Your participation in forums is greatly appreciated, you are one of our regular customer

Well, we have repeatedly emphasized that for streaming you cannot live with shared VPN account - You should go for a dedicated IP account. The reason is a shared IP is more like an open proxy that could be traced easily, where as a dedicated IP is uniquely assigned to your computer and it's rather hard to block.

    I hope that helps,
    The PureVPN Team

I have the same problem. Just signed up for 3 month dedicated and every site is heavily buffering. Did a speed check and noticed the download bandwidth is being throttled. No throttling on upload bandwidth. I also have a 20mb connection out of switzerland so not sure if that is making a difference.

I will run some more tests to see if it is actually the vpn or some other bottleneck on my network but normally, and depending on what and where I am downloading from, I can get 1 to 2 MB/s... right now just 100KB/s with purevpn...

oooops, almost forgot. Several sites are already saying that they will not serve me due to my location. That is strange as I thought the dedicated package removes this problem... I wonder if those are smart cats that are blocking entire IP address ranges that pureVPN is using?? Two sites that I tried are Oxygen network and Bravo TV.

Ok, ran a few tests with the vpn on and with the vpn off. I found that I had 3500 kbit/s with purevpn off and when I turned it on, speed feel dramatically to about 550 kbit/s... no wonder we get all this buffering, that is not an acceptable speed for streaming video. I will probably cancel the service within the 3 day limit unless I can be convinced this is an anomally and will be fixed. Even small videos are stuttering, and you can forget about any of the HD content.
