    Dear Customer,

Please always raise urgent technical issues through our support ticket system: http://billing.purevpn.com/submitticket.php

Regarding your issue, you may not see this error if you have tried PPTP which most of other companies provide. 741 is a typical L2TP error you get when there is at least one configuration error.

    Have you tried PPTP?
Have you tried using our 64bit compatible automated dialer? See here:

    Sincerely,
    The PureVPN Team

I would also add this could reveal if there are any port issues:

I found the key of this error:change "Require encryption" to "connect even if no encryption" in the setting of VPN connection properties. But it means insecurity .And I didn't need to set it to "connect even if no encryption" with other VPN.

    Dear bbs666,

You don't need to change this attribute normally with L2TP but when network is not supporting 40 to 128 bits key, then this error comes out. This attribute change is required only when you are actually using PPTP.

Any case L2TP should work with Requires Encryption

    Sincerely,
    The PureVPN Team
