Encryption ??
Hi,
I have 2 questions.
First, i'm using purevpn since yesterday and it works fine but I tried to configure L2TP/IPsec and it was impossible to connect with these settings.
Only PPTP works...
Any solutions ?!

Second:
I just want to know if I can get port fowarding with the vpn connection ?
Thank you.

Unless you are working for the CIA and transporting intelligence documents you really have nothing to worry about.
128-bit encryption is more than sufficient to encrypt files that you don't want accessed. Online business transactions and banking use either 128 or 256-bit.
If you want the strongest encryption then I guess it would be the RC4 algorithm, but requires a terribly long passkey to utilize the encryption to the fullest extent.
Realistically the blowfish encryption algorithm is probably the cheapest and most effective, where it is just like the IDEA algorithm at 128-bits which is unbreakable (to my knowledge) by brute force or trial and error.
I use AxCrypt which is free and works well it is 128-bit encryption. Just so you know...if you arent using the maximum password length you are not getting the maximum encryption.
Good Luck!
