Any suggestions for setting up PureVPN on an android (2.1)?
I've tried but the connection fails - no error message

    Dear cf46sr,

Thank you for posting in our forums. Following are the steps for setting up VPN on android:

You will need to select L2TP/IPSec and fill in required fields with following info:

    1) VPN Name (PureVPN)
    2) Set VPN Server (server hostname you get in your VPN configuration email)
    3) Set IPSec pre-shared key (L2TP key you receive in your VPN configuration email)
    4) Enable L2TP secret (box to check yes or no) (no)
    5) Set L2TP secret (no need)
    6) DNS Search Domains (no need)
    7) Username (your username sent in your VPN configuration email)
    8) Password (your password sent in your VPN configuration email)

    I hope this helps,

    Regards,
    The PureVPN Team

    thanks , worked a treat .

you may want to change "You will need to select L2TP/IPSec" to
"You will need to select L2TP/IPSec PSK"

    thanks again

Does somebody know a way to save the password for a VPN connection on an Android device?

I set up all VPNs provided by PureVPN, I can save the username but not the password. When I am away from home and using an open Wifi network I'd like to use a VPN for security reasons. But it's a hazzle to have to enter the password everytime. A nice "one-click-solution" would be appreciated.
