    Default Visible indictor? Auto login?

New user here - everything seems OK so far, and it's nice to have a choice of klocations from the one account.

    But a couple of questions...

Is there a way to get a visible indicator of if and where i am conencted to on the desktop? I have such a thing on my igoogle page, but it would be good to have onthe desktop, which would be a lot more visible.

I use several operating systems, all options are of interest!

    Second question.

Can I set things up so that I automatically connect to PureVPN as part of my start up sequence? from the way the dailer is set, it will probably ask for a location rather than dial through to the last one...

    Thanks!

    Dear Customer,

Always nice to see another happy guy at PureVPN - Thank you for your comments!

Regarding your first question, since it PureVPN does not use or require any software installation on your system rather it uses built-in features to set up VPN connection, I am afraid it will not show up unless you point your mouse over "Connectivity" icon in your system tray.

Regarding automatic connection as part of start up sequence, again since you need to actually select a VPN location before you could dial up. You could set it's properties to "Always dial" from your network connections so it can atleast pop up automatically for you to select your VPN location and saves your steps!

    I hope this helps,

    Regards,
    The PureVPN Team

Thanks for a fast response - that is not really what I was getting at with the VPN connection status...

I don't believe something like this would need to be part of your software at all - I was thinking of something along the lines of a Windows 7 style desktop gadget.

The one I currently use as an item on my igoogle page is here:
(bloody thing wont let me post a link )

It puts a little flag for the country I am connected to on the google page under the search box.

An equivalent desktop gadget would be more useful, and visible, providing an instant indication that I am safely connected through your service...
