    Default Some Newbie Questions

    Hi All

I am extremely new to this and I am looking at getting this service but have a a couple of questions. I am sorry if these questions sound newbie but that is what i am

    1) we at home have 2 desktops, 2 laptops, networked printer and a server if I setup PureVpn will I still be able to access my home network and also my server from outside of my house

    2) One of the things that I read was having this services was t in the that myself being from Canada could access services from such things as Hulu in the states. Can someone tell me that if I want these services do I have to have an American address?

    3) Will i be able to access TV stations in the states and other countries?

    4) even if I pay a nominal fee is there a way of trying this service for a couple of days before deciding?

    5) If i want to access video, bitorents, TV and services like hula what would be the best plan?

Thank you for taken the oppurtunity to look at this post and for your input in advance.

    Dear Advocate,

Thank you very much for stopping by and posting in our forums. These questions are not at all a newbie one's

I try to answer your questions one by one below.

    1) Yes that's possible to access your server remotely with our VPN. All you'll need for this purpose is our Dedicated IP account. Canada is recommended for you because of it's closest proximity to your server location. Once you have purchased a subscription we'll setup port forwarding from server side for the ports that you will ask for. RDP port is an exception however.

    2) Yes you can access HULU and other geo-restricted services while staying in Canada via our Standard or High bandwidth plan service. (Or you'll need to get a US Dedicated plan) - You don't need to have US address for that, an IP address is sufficient for the purpose.

    3) Yes with Standard and High bandwidth plan it's possible.

    4) Yes you can try out our 3 days trial service. It's based on Standard plan.

    5) Yes you can access torrent/P2P (see terms for allowed country locations) via our Standard and High bandwidth plans.

Please do let us know should you have further questions while we look forward to your trial subscription

    Sincerely,
    The PureVPN team
