Speeds between Dedicated and Shared Connections

Good Evening PureVPN,

I have tried your service before in a Shared connection and at most times I was satisfied with the service at times there was an inconsistency with speeds.

I was wondering if a Dedicated IP uses different servers from the Shared connection and if I would benefit more for consistent full download and upload speeds through a Dedicated IP.

Thank you for taking time and posting in our forums.

Yes, all our dedicated servers are completely different than shared one's and you can expect greater speeds on dedicated VPN IP accounts.

One more thing to consider is speeds for a VPN does not always depend on server side it could be your local ISP issues that at a certain time loads on your ISP are higher and you experience slow down in speeds. I suggest you try out all shared servers and see if at least a few gives better speeds. This because different servers are reached with different circuits that ISP uses to connect with different servers'
