Dear CeoProit,

Thankyou for taking time and posting in our forum :)

There is a technical difference between these IPs. A static IP means an IP that is not going to change whenever you connect to. But that IP may be or may not be unique, that is, may be that IP is shared between users besides you.

Whereas a Dedicated/Unique IP is an IP that is static as well as unique, that is it is only in your use and no one else is sharing it with you.

Which one you need depends on what is your purpose.

Hope this helps,

I have tried your VPN with a dedicated IP to watch UK TV and it works well.

Other competitive services say I can use a shared IP to watch UK TV. What is your position on this?

I will be an occasional user, so I want to reduce cost (or I may decide not to do it at all), so shared IP is the way I would prefer to go.

Dear PerryVale,

Thankyou for contacting our support team. Both the UK Dedicated and UK Shared IPs could be used for TV streaming. However, there are so many TV streaming websites that use to block proxies and since a shared IP is more like Open Proxy with so many customers using it at a time, thus chances are high that your service would be interrupted if on shared IP.

Now solution would be to remain on Shared IP as long as you can, and when you see service is blocked you may upgrade to a Dedicated IP that would never get blocked..

Hope this helps,
