HI can you please tell me the difference between the firsts plan -
Monthly Plan (Shared IP)
All IP's associated with this plan are Static and Shared between users.
There is no Bandwidth limitation in this plan.
and the last plan
OpenVPN
All IP's associated with this plan are Static and Shared between users.
There is no Bandwidth limitation in this plan.
other than the price. The descriptions are the same and I cant see what the difference is between the plans. Can you please clarify.
Thanks
Dez

Hi
Thank you for showing interest in Purevpn.
"OpenVPN is a full-featured SSL VPN solution and it Often times will work in places where Regular VPN is blocked.
The main difference between these services is the protocol used.
Regular VPN uses pptp/l2tp and OpenVPN uses OpenVPN.
There should be no noticeable difference in speed between the two services.
Since OpenVPN is an open protocol it has the typical advantages of open source software vs proprietary. Some examples of that are that OpenVPN may run on systems and networks where PPTP/l2tp is not possible and greater flexibility for advanced configurations. Also the security protocols used in OpenVPN are generally considered superior to PPTP's offerings with providing 2048 bits Encryption.
Conversely in Microsoft systems the initial configuration for PPTP/L2tp Regular connections is more simple since the software to manage those connections is integrated with Microsoft Operating Systems.
Which ever account level you choose, we can process a upgrade or downgrade at any time but our recommendation is Regular VPN with l2tp protocol which is more secure than pptp.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.
Best regards,
Bryan
