Configuration for Wireless network..

Hi,

I'm going to purchase the USD6 package. But before that, i need to ask a few things..hope you can help me since my IT knowledge is still at beginner level.

Actually right now, i am using wireless broadand connection and Windows XP for operating system.

If i has setup the VPN, the shortcut will appear at my dekstop right? In order to connect using the VPN, firstly i need to plug in the modem at my usb port. Then, the modem device will automatically find the 3G network for me and connect it as usual. Then, after the connection has been made, i need to connect again using VPN shortcut that i has setup before. Is it right?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Yes you are right ,for connecting to VPN first you need active internet connections.
but first make sure that your router/firewall supports PPTP pass-through, you should have no troubles connecting. Many routers/firewalls handle PPTP connections fine even though they do not explicitly advertise PPTP pass-through capability. Your firewall rules must be set up to allow outbound connections to our server IP on TCP port 1723 and IP protocol 47 (GRE).
