New user here.

I'm trying to get the VPN to work on my IPhone for when I'm using public wireless connections.
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with how to set it up. Any assistance would be appreciated!

Thanks

Thanks and that is what I had tried previously.

However when I do that and try to connect to the provided IPs, I get the following message:

Network Connection
The connection was terminated by the communication device. Please verify your settings and try again.

I'm attempting to set the VPN connection up under the PPTP tab of course.

Any update on this? I'm still unable to get it working and would really like to make sure it works on my iphone prior to purchasing a longer plan.

Is there a free VPN software that doesn't require internet and has no virus or maliware that uses networks like ad hoc network which is also a computer to computer network. I am useing windows vista. Give specific detail on how to install and use the program. Has to be easy to install. Like a installer to it. Has to be easy to use like hamachi but useing a ad hoc network. Exept that doesn't require the internet or router.

Dear Sanjeevani,

We are thankful that you joined and posted in our forum.

A VPN that can work without any internet connection is technically not feasible. VPN uses your ISP to make it's virtual tunnel that can no way create without an active existing internet connection. You may read more on VPN here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second-level_ISP
